The OPPO A9 2020 is better in terms of the viewing experience. Its larger screen size makes it more enjoyable for watching videos, but that doesn’t put the Mi A3 be at a significant disadvantage. The latter’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection is better, especially if you’re worried about minor bumps and scratches.

For performance, both of them have the Snapdragon 665 chipset, which is good and fast for a mid-range device. Gaming is great on these devices; however, their RAM capacities are significantly different. The OPPO A9 2020 has 8GB while the Mi A3 has 4GB which makes the former a better device for multitasking.

In terms of cameras, the OPPO A9 2020 has a dedicated mono lens while the Mi A3 has a higher front camera resolution. We’ve yet to know how they perform in terms of photo quality but based on both company’s history, they both have good rear and selfie performance.

Feature-wise, the OPPO A9 2020 has a Dolby Atmos audio which makes it superior in terms of sound quality and UFS 2.1 storage. Mi A3; on the other hand, comes with an IR Blaster, under-display fingerprint scanner, and Stock Android experience.

The battery performance of both devices is yet to be known. However, the OPPO A9 2020 has a larger battery capacity with reverse charging capability, which is nice to have if your other devices need some quick recharging. The Mi A3 is also great due to its quick charging technology.
