Listen to article

OPPO has announced their latest charging technology which can fully charge a 2,500mAh battery equipped OPPO smartphone in just 15 minutes – the OPPO Super VOOC Flash Charge.

OPPO Super VOOC is the successor to the original VOOC Flash Charge introduced in 2014. In the past 2 years, the company has dedicated R&D resources to improve the said charging technology and has announced that it has reached the final stages of reliability testing.

As mentioned earlier, the Super VOOC Flash Charge is capable of charging a completely drained OPPO smartphone with 2,500mAh battery from 0% to 100%. The company was able to achieve this using two major improvements on the original VOOC technology as explained below:

“Firstly, Super VOOC Flash Charge uses an all-new low-voltage pulse-charge system. Secondly, it uses a customized battery. Combining them, a battery of 2,500mAh can be fully charged with Super VOOC Flash Charge in just 15 minutes.”

The company also added that Super VOOC Flash Charge is completely safe and won’t damage the battery, and supports Micro-USB and USB Type-C standard.
