The OPPO X 2021 rollable smartphone concept was first announced in 2020, but the company further unveiled its features at MWC Shanghai 2021. In the case of the OPPO X 2021, the company applied for 122 individual new patents, including 12 relating to a completely new rollable mechanism. Because of that, the OPPO X 2021 is able to smoothly expand its 6.7-inch OLED display into 7.4-inch.
