OPPO’s latest smartphone, and the successor to the F5, has just launched in India. Meet the F7, powered by the new MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage, and a 3,400mAh battery. It comes with Color OS 5.0 (Android 8.1 Oreo) right out of the box.
It sports a 6.23-inch display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 (19:9 aspect ratio), which means that yes, it does have a notch. 6.23-inches is fairly large, but it keeps the overall footprint down, having a screen-to-body ratio of 88%.
As for cameras, the F7 goes for single camera setups for both the front and rear. At the front is a 25MP shooter with HDR, AI Beauty Technology 2.0, and AR stickers. Like with the F5, it brings face unlock. At the rear is a 16MP f/1.8 camera.
In India, the OPPO F7 is priced at Rs.21,990 (~Php17,700) for the 4GB/64GB version, and Rs.26,990Â (~Php21,700) for the 6GB/128GB version. It is available on April 2 via flash sale on FlipKart and offline channels in India.
Local pricing and availability are yet to be announced. Stay tuned for our hands-on, and of course our full review.
