OPPO China is planning to launch the next update for their operating system in devices with the ColorOS 16 in line with their annual OPPO Developer Conference (ODC).

It seems OPPO is set to launch the latest operating system for OPPO devices with the ColorOS 16. An event will take place on October 15 in Shenzhen, China for its launch.

The event will not only talk about ColorOS 16, but also discuss OPPO AI and their latest plan moving forward. Based on Oppo China’s website, it looks like there are some design cues inspired by Apple’s iOS 26.

A global launch for ColorOS 16 has yet to be announced, but we’ll know more when October rolls by.
