Redmi 15 5G specs, priced in the Philippines

The Redmi 15 5G has been launched in the Philippines as their latest entry-level offering with 5G connectivity. Design-wise, it has a quad-curved back panel with metal detailing, an IP64 rating, and Wet Touch Technology 2.0.

It has a 6.9-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

For optics, it has a 50MP rear camera, an auxiliary sensor, and 8MP selfie shooter. It will ship with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 out of the box. It comes with two (2) years of OS updates and four (4) years of security patches.

This comes with AI features like AI Erase, AI Sky, and Dynamic Shots. The OS also supports Circle to Search, Gemini, and Xiaomi Interconnectivity.

In addition, it packs a 7,000mAh battery with support for 33W of fast charging and 18W of reverse charging. Xiaomi claims that it can last up to two days of light use with 59 minutes of calls. It can even last for up to 7.5 hours of standby even at 1 percent battery.

The Redmi 15 5G is priced at PHP 7,999, available through Global Postpaid Plan 999 with a one-time cash-out of PHP 400. It’s also available with Smart Postpaid Plan 999 starting in the second week of October.
