The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G has been spotted online ahead of launch. This entry-level device was seen via online listings in Europe, revealing its key specs, design, and pricing.

The Galaxy A17 5G features a familiar Samsung look, sporting a sleek form factor. It will come in three color options in Black, Blue, and Gray.
At the front, it has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is fitted with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection as well.
Under the hood, it’s powered by an Exynos 1330 with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging via USB Type-C.
For cameras, it has a 50MP main, a 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro at the rear. Other features include its stereo speakers, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and IP54 rating.
The phone will ship with One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box. It will be good for six (6) years of software support. This includes OS upgrades and security patches.
The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G will start at EUR 230 (~PHP 15K) with 4GB/128GB. It’ll also be available for EUR 309 (~PHP 21K) with 8GB/256GB.
The device is already listed in Spain and France, but Samsung has yet to announce it for a global launch. We’ll update readers should this offering be available in the Philippines.
