Samsung has quietly released a new entry-level 5G smartphone in Europe: the Galaxy A17 5G.

It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus on top. Powering the device is the Exynos 1330 chipset configured with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.
At the rear protrudes a triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main shooter, a 5-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
Software-wise, it runs One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box, and Samsung promises up to six years of software support. Battery is rated 5000mAh with support for 25W wired charging. The phone also gets IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G is currently available for pre-orders in select territories in Europe. In Samsung Ireland website, the Galaxy A17 5G is priced at EUR 239 (~Php15.8K).
