Samsung Galaxy A71 and A51 5G variants, now official

Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy A71 and A51 5G variants of its mid-range smartphones in the US. The models are still identical from its 4G versions apart from its Exynos 980 processor and prism back panel.

The Exynos 980 processor is the brand’s first 5G-compatible chipset that delivers faster connectivity, low-latency gaming, and seamless live streaming. The smartphones are protected with the defense-grade security software Samsung Knox, improves in-game performance through Game Booster, come with Bixby, Samsung Pay, and Samsung Health out of the box, and support mmWave and sub-600MHz spectrum of 5G connectivity.

Compared to its older sibling, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G ships with a 25W Super Fast Charging feature.
