Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) leaked ahead of launch
One of Samsung’s most popular mid-range smartphones, the J7, is also getting a 2016 refresh as a German website obtained official photos of the new device.
There aren’t any notable differences on the design, as most of the hardware changes are rumored to be inside. The refreshed J7 launching this year is said to have 3GB RAM and will be powered by either of the octa-core Snapdragon 615 or Exynos 7870 chips.
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) rumored specs:
5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display @ 1920 x 1080px, 401ppi
Snapdragon 615 or Exynos 7870
16GB internal storage
expandable via microSD card
13MP rear camera with LED Flash
5MP front camera with LED Flash
Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
3300mAh battery (removable)
Samsung’s refreshed Galaxy J7, along with its smaller Galaxy J5 (2016) sibling, have both passed China’s TENAA so we may expect the official announcement for both of these devices in the coming weeks.
