Samsung Galaxy M17 5G launched

Following our previous report, the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G has been launched. The phone is a rebadged Galaxy A17, with the difference being its available colorways.

This device has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Powering it is an Exynos 1330 with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

For optics, it has a 50-megapixel main, 5-megapixel ultra wide, and 2-megapixel depth at the rear. It’s also equipped with a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.

It will ship with One UI 7 based on Android 15 with 6 years of OS and security updates. Plus, it packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W of fast charging via USB Type-C.

Other features include its in-display fingerprint sensor and IP54 rating. The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G starts at INR 12,499 (~PHP 8K) with 4GB/128GB.

It’s also available for INR 13,999 (~PHP 9K) with 6GB/128GB and INR 15,499 (~PHP 10K) with 8GB/128GB. It’s currently available in India with the Philippine model likely being the Galaxy A17 5G.
