Samsung Galaxy S20+, Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition now official

An official posting of the Samsung Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition are now up on the smartphone brand’s website.

A few weeks ago, renders of the said devices were seen online. Both come in purple and bears the K-Pop group’s logo.

Apart from the design, the Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition didn’t change any hardware from the standard version. Now coming in a Haze Purple colorway, the smartphone’s box comes in a black and purple color filled with hearts. Inside are seven BTS photo cards that fans can collect as part of the band’s merchandise. There’s also a cute purple heart icon placed on the camera module.

In terms of software, the smartphone is pre-installed with exclusive BTS content as live wallpapers, stickers, and lock screen. The smartphone also has the Weverse app, which the band uses in interacting with fans online.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition changes the default colors of the buds and the charging case to purple and black. Each bud has the heart and BTS logo in purple.

Pre-orders will begin on June 19, 2020, through the Samsung US website. Those who will pre-order each device will get a free BTS poster. Should they want to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition, they can get a 50 percent discount on the matching Galaxy Buds+. On the other hand, those who prefer the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition may take home a BTS-themed wireless charger as a freebie. It will be on sale via Amazon and Samsung US website on July 9, 2020. Official pricing is yet to be announced.
