We’ve all been waiting for the impending launch of Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S9, and today we finally know when it will all come down. It was first reported that the announcement would be on the first day of MWC itself, but it looks like Samsung wants to get ahead of the show and unveil the phone a day early.
The company dropped the bomb on their website in the form of an invitation for a launch event to be held on February 25, a day before MWC officially opens. While they did not specifically say it’s for the Galaxy S9, the logo’s number “9” speaks for itself. Other than the subtle number placement, nothing else was revealed except for the catchphrase “The Camera, Reimagined” which hints that the new flagship might bring in something new in imaging technology. In any case, let’s just wait for further details and announcements as we approach the launch date a month from now.
