QWERTBVCXZI says:
what’s there os?
Miguel Paraz says:
The OS you can easily tell from the buttons ;)
Hope it’s a nice keyboard on that Pro – so hard to find a a Blackberry-quality keyboard.
gg says:
@qwert
magbasa ka naman. nakalagay oh, android 2.3!
tantra2gadget says:
SE are company that always gives us high price of their products sana this time d naman masyado masakit sa bulsa,ganda ng xperia play i hope na hindi siya laggy like how their past SE phones perform
Jhay says:
You got to hand it to SE. Stylish and feature-packed phones.
Then again their handsets are known to burn a hole through one’s wallet. T_T
lolipown says:
@Jhay
They’re currently well known for one more thing, and that’s NOT updating their Android line. Poor X10.
Before anyone cuts in, yes a Froyo and Gingerbread rom is available but it’s still not a good sign for Sony to simply drop updates in their priority list.

Sony-Ericsson Xperia Play is the first PlayStation certified device,” said Kazuuo Hirai, president of Sony Corp.’s networked products and services group.
Nice one sony!, now we can play the contents of playstation gaming console thur this device…

Messie says:
Xperia Play is awesome, but I will definitely not pay more than the price of a PSP GO (13k today) and a mid-high range phone (Let’s Say 20k). Thus, this should not be priced higher than 33k.
pintech says:
xperia neo is awesome! thumbs up to s.e!
Paul says:
No wonder they dont want to upgrade the X10 family to 2.2
They are releasing new phones…oh for sure this phones will get stuck at a certain Android version because that is the trademark of SE.
Keep a certain model stuck at a certain OS so that people will buy the newer models with newer OS
Nice phones but i better look at the other brands who keep the customers really happy. Imagine SE saying that 2.1 is better than 2.2 LOL
lolipown says:
@Paul
Tinatamaan ang Samsung :)
nene says:
very nice gadgets – I want to have this gadget soon
GUMZ says:
Playing + wifi/3g
how about the battery life?
just21 says:
Expect a high price !
Marck says:
Xperia Play resembles PSP Go. Magkatulad din kaya ng interface? Okay kaya ang graphics? Hmmmm…..
Harley says:
super nice!
Earl says:
If the concern is gaming, I rather wait for the so called “NGP” or PSP2 then get a galaxy s2 for a phone rather than get the SE xperia play, But if you want flexibility like gaming and phone in one pop this is the gadget for you
Dan says:
I’m keeping an eagle eye on that Neo.
Gams says:
Wow!
Neio says:
sana my external battery yung xperia play..pra matagal laru.in
Spica says:
@lolipown
@Paul
Sakit din yan ng Samsung.
That’s why I’m not buying from either again. Ang tatamad mag-update.
john says:
@tantra2gadget
anong laggy? yung xperia x10? di yun laggy, have you tried one? it is one of the most stable android phone sa ngayon..
laggy? baka kasi android, lahat nman ng android laggy. LOL
JHammy says:
I think Sony Ericsson get it right this time with by releasing recent Android os. Hope the price wasn’t in the tradition of how Sony Ericsson (high)do it.
miggy says:
Guys Anyone knows the price of this unit in the philippines
Eleniel says:
I think the price of Xperia Neo is around 20-24k?
Not quite sure. That’s just rough estimates, knowing SE. :P
I just hope it gets cheaper fast. I really want Neo
vinz says:
@Eleniel – maybe around 30-34k on neo..bought my X10 around 32k when it was first launched..with great specs on neo, expect a much higher retail price..hehe
mike says:
Any Updates on the release date of Xperia Play? Ive been using my chery mobile as a replacement for my p990i because Im still waiting for this phone!
WTF SE says:
I just called the corporate contact number of SE Xperia PH today, and they told me that the Xperia Pro will be released Q4 of this year in the PH. WTF?! I also asked him about the new Xperia Mini Series, and he said that it will be released on the same said time frame… WTF?!
Call them now if you want to verify here

FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! WTF SE and here i thought that you had came back from the dead, FFFFUUUU.
About that time 1Ghz Android will be so cheap because of the domination of the dual core phones.
von says:
They can’t update X10 that fast bec. of how much they’ve changed its Android! Its not like X10 UI looks like every other Android device duuuuh.
And I really want the Neo which I hope wouldn’t be priced that high considering its not a flagship phone.
ralph says:
when will xperia mini will be release here?
blazetrigx says:
@vinz/@Eleniel – you can get a xperia neo for only 14500 PHP! Although it doesn’t come with the official Sony Ericsson warranty. Either way the service center of Sony Ericsson here cant fix any high-end phone anyway since their technician isnt fully trained. I’ve already try to have my K810 fix about a few years ago and they just thrashed my phone! Anyways, check out this site that sells more than SE phones! http://www.kimstore.multiply.com
