Sony Xperia C660X ‘Yuga’ leaks

Listen to article

A week ago, the Sony Xperia (C650X) Odin leaked online which reports say could be Sony’s flagship smartphone for 2013. Now, a new leak has surfaced showing a different Xperia with a higher model number and impressive specs.

The so called Xperia C660X ‘Yuga’ made an appearance in benchmark results featuring specs that could go head to head with current flagships. NenaMark2 benchmarks show that the Xperia Yuga will sport a display with 1080p resolution. Screenshots show a resolution of 1794×1080 but add the extra 126 pixels used for Android on-screen buttons and you’ll get a total of 1920×1080 pixels. So far there are not details on how big the screen will be but if we assume that it’s a 5-inch display it would still calculate to an impressive 440ppi.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro, quad-core Krait processors clocked at 1.5GHz, an Adreno 320 GPU and will run Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

As for performance, the Yuga scored 11,321 in AnTuTu benchmarks. Beating Sony’s current flagship Xperia T (8,270) but a bit behind the LG Optimus G (13,643).

Soon enough, Sony will advertise on this site. That’s a bet on my red book.
