Sony Xperia V Jellybean update rolls out

Listen to article

We reported last year that Sony is going to roll out its Jellybean update for the Xperia V (LT25i) around mid-February of this year. Looks like they’re right on schedule as users from Europe are already receiving the update.

According to reports, the Android 4.1.2 Jellybean update has the firmware version number of 9.1.A.0.490 which will finally bring the Project Butter goodness to the water-resistant LTE smartphone. As of the moment, the update is rolling out to European countries like Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Switzerland. Asian countries will receive it a bit later.

The Jellybean update will probably arrive via Sony’s PC Companion so you might want to plug in your handset and check for the update every now and then.
