Sony Xperia Z1 to be locally available on Oct. 18

Sony’s latest flagship, the Xperia Z1 is slated to officially arrive in the country on October 18 with an SRP of Php35K.

To give you a quick recap, the Xperia Z1 was officially unveiled last month during the IFA in Berlin and at the Sony Regional Launch in Kuala Lumpur. Since then the 20.7 megapixel-packing Android smartphone has already made rounds in local online stores for purchase. However, if you’re one of those who prefer to purchase them through Sony stores and Xperia shops then you just have to wait for a few more days to do so.

The Sony Xperia Z1 has an SRP of Php34,990USD 596INR 50,547EUR 568CNY 4,342 and will be available on October 18, 2013 through Sony stores, Xperia shops and authorized dealers.

Meron na ako nito. I bought in Singapore last week while on tour. All I could say, after going thru all the top brands all these years, lahat ng current top smartphone diyan except the ultra z, na meron din ako, are as if nokia 3310 phones in comparison. Buy one, if you can. To me, it’s all worth the cash I paid.

magmumura ang mga suki nating online shops, especially the “service warranty” units! okay na sana, kaso ang laki ng bezel – kaya sana ma-release globally ang Sony Z1 mini..

Is a waterproof phone really a necessity? really… paulit-ulit kong sasabihin ito, unless nasa bukid ka or gubat, I don’t think anyone would need a water-resistant phone.

Andaming waiting shed, malls, FX taxi, iskinita na pwede mong silungan in case na bumuhos ang malakas na ulan.

Wow. Dead on arrival.konti lang ang price difference sa lumia 1020 considering this phone is marketed based on its camera?.wow. The price of 1020 includes a camera grip which is a much better deal compared to this one.

To be fucking honest, having a waterproof phone is too overrated. Unless kung sirena ka at gusto mong mag selfie sa tabi ng Titanic.

And second thing, 16gb should be buried 100ft under our feet.

3rdly, should be atleast 3,500 mAH +++ battery.

seriously? anong paki namin mga Sony fans sa LG G2 nyo? Taga recruit ba kayo ng LG? Hahaha funny. I don’t see a comparison in this post pero pinipilit parin ang mga “no budget” people ang LG G2. Hindi kayo target ng Sony. ;)

Its a great phone for the philippines where it rains and floods all the time to not have to worry about rain, water, flood and humidity .

Also, LG never updates its phones with proper software updates. Sony usually does a decent job

para to sa mga mahilig mag text at mag browse sa loob ng banyo, pag nahulog sa balde ok lang or sa inidoro. Ok naba?? para matahimik na ung mga may pinaglalaban jan about sa pagiging waterproof.

experience:

workmate bought a new phone prior to company outing.. since bago ang phone, yun ang napagdiskitahan for piktyur-piktyur.. while workmate is busy taking videos of our lunuran session (in knee-deep water) phone accidently slipped.. and that was the end of his 25k++.. though his katangahan and kashunga-an is highly debatable, isa eto sa mga instances where masasabi natin na “deym, he should have bought a waterproof phone instead”..

dun sa mga gusto ng waterproof phone pero ayaw nitong xperia o s4 active, may nabibili naman po na waterproof cases for other phones pero ang alam ko karamihan eh for iphones and samsung galaxy s lineup…kung ayaw nyu naman ng case dahil nagpapalaki sa phone may nabibiling pouches na pede sa halos lahat ng smartphones pero un nga lang di advisable na gamitin permanently kasi di maganda tignan hahaha

ayan napabasa tuloy ako ng mga article ng G2, ganda nga ng specs ng LG OIS cam and the rear key button is just what differentiate itself from other phones
