Alongside the new TECNO SPARK 40 Pro+ 36 are the non-Plus and its base variants.

Design-wise, the vanilla SPARK 40 is quite different from its Pro siblings. On paper, both feature the same screen size at 6.67-inch albeit the base model uses an IPS LCD panel and has a HD+ lower resolution.

Under the hood, it features the MediaTek Helio G81 configured with up to 6GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Meanwhile, the SPARK 40 Pro is the more identical sibling with the Pro+, rocking similar design and hardware. While the Pro+ gets the newer Helio G200 SoC, the SPARK 40 Pro features the older Helio G100 chip.

The Pro model sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display running at up to 144Hz refresh rate.

Both models sport a 50-megapixel main rear camera and pack a 5200mAh battery paired with 45W of wired charging.

Both models are available for pre-order in Uganda. The SPARK 40 starts at UGX 479,000 (~Php7.5K), while the SPARK 40 Pro goes for UGX 679,000 (~Php10.6K).
