Wiko Mobile, a French smartphone brand, is coming to the Philippines

Wiko Mobile, a French smartphone brand, is set to launch in the Philippines as early as next month.

According to their website, Wiko is a global brand with a French DNA. It started in Marseille, France in 2011 by James Lin, CEO of Tinno group, a Chinese innovative industrial, and Laurent Dahan, a French visionary entrepreneur. It is operating in 30 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

The company’s goal is to make smartphone technology accessible to all and currently has smartphones and wearables in its product line. For smartphones, they have the T and Y range. The Wiko T3 features a 6.6-inch HD+ display, triple rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery.

UPDATE:

The brand already has a Lazada page available with a few product listings like the Wiko T3, Wiko Y82, Wiko T10, and Wiko T50. These devices range from entry-level to mid-range.

Wiko Mobile will have a press launch on June 2, so stay tuned.
