Xiaomi has announced their new flagship and it packs the best design materials and internals you can find today.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a 5.15-inch full HD display. It’s powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with either 3GB of 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Storage-wise, you can opt for up to 128GB of onboard flash storage. According to Xiaomi, it can reach a benchmark score of 142,084 on Antutu v6.0.4.
It’s 16-megapixel rear camera has a 4-axis optical image stabilization but with no camera bump. As mentioned during the launch, the design of the Mi 5 is inherited from the Mi Note flagship from last year with a 3D-curved edge glass or ceramic back (microcrystalline nano-ceramic zirconia) and metallic frame.

The highest configuration with 4GB RAM, 128GB of storage and a 3D ceramic back cover is labeled as the Mi 5 Pro.
Availability will start in China by March 1 while international availability is yet to be announced.
