Alongside the regular Pad 8, Xiaomi also unveiled the Pad 8 Pro, which brings a more powerful chipset and upgraded charging while keeping the same slim design.

As expected, the Pro model sports the same 11.2-inch LCD display with 3200 x 2136 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light. Buyers can also opt for a special PaperMatte panel variant for a more eye-friendly experience.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the new 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip clocked at 4.32GHz, paired with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It carries a 9,200mAh battery that now supports 67W Hyper Adaptor fast charging via USB-C.
For cameras, Xiaomi fitted the Pad 8 Pro with a 50MP rear shooter and a 32MP front-facing camera for video calls and selfies. Audio gets a boost as well, thanks to four speakers with Dolby Audio and Hi-Res certifications, plus four microphones with noise reduction. Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity options include WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, while software is handled by Android 16 with HyperOS 3.0 out of the box.
