Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 officially announced

Xiaomi has launched its successor to the Mi Mix, the Mi Mix 2, sporting a 5.99-inch display, a 18:9 screen body ratio, and a 12% smaller chin compared to its predecessor.

The new smartphone features a Sony IMX386 sensor, and 4-axis OIS, the same camera quality as of the Mi 6. Powering it is Qualcomm’s Snadragon 835, 6GB RAM with three storage options of 64GB/128GB/256GB, and global LTE support with 6 modes and 43 bands.

It comes with three prices based on its storage:

  • CNY3,299 (~Php25,758.41) – 6GB RAM+ 64GB internal storage
  • CNY3,599 (~Php28,100.79) – 6GB RAM+ 128GB internal storage
  • CNY3,999 (~Php31,223.97) – 6GB RAM+ 256GB internal storage

Availability is yet to be announced.

Update: The Mi Mix 2 will be available this Friday, September 15, in China. Global release is yet to be announced.

    Now that S8, G6, V30 and PH1 is out, the new Mi Mix is not as interesting as the first one.
