Xiaomi has new devices in the pipeline and two of those have apparently leaked with specs, price, and launch dates. These are the Redmi 4 and Mi Note 2. Check out the details after the jump.
Xiaomi Redmi 3S
The specs of the Redmi 4 was initially spotted at Geekbench’s database which include a Snapdragon 625 processor and 3GB of RAM with Android 6.0.1 running the software department. This was reportedly confirmed by a Chinese source and along with it came more information like a 5-inch Full HD display, metal injection molded body, fingerprint scanner, and 4100mAh battery with support for fast charging. The Redmi 4 will allegedly launch on August 25 with a price of CNY699PHP 5,635USD 96INR 8,138EUR 91 (approx. Php5K) for the base model with 3GB RAM/32GB storage.
On the other hand, the awaited Mi Note 2 will reportedly have a Samsung AMOLED touch display, Snapdragon 821 CPU, 3600mAh of battery capacity that also supports fast charging. Internal storage is spacious at 64GB/128GB variants while RAM is at 6GB. It will have a metal body as well in addition to a fingerprint scanner. Pricing was reported to be at CNY2,499PHP 20,144USD 343INR 29,095EUR 327 (approx. Php17USD 0.29INR 25EUR 0.28CNY 2.5K) and CNY2,799PHP 22,562USD 385INR 32,588EUR 366 (approx. Php19USD 0.32INR 27EUR 0.31CNY 2.6K)Â for the 64GB and 128GB storage, respectively. Launch is expected to be on September 5.
As with other leaks, do take these with a pinch of salt as nothing is official until the company announces it.
