The Xiaomi Redmi 5A went on flash sale today to kick off their partnership with Lazada, for a price of Php4,390.

Due to the popularity of the phone, it actually sold out in less than one hour, according to Lazada. We have been informed that the next batch of stocks is already on its way, ready for yet another flash sale next week, Monday, March 19, at 1:00PM.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A sports a 5-inch IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 3,000mAh battery. It runs MIUI 9 (Android 7.1 Nougat). You may see our hands-on and first impressions of the device here.
