Xiaomi to launch Redmi Note 2, specs revealed

A teaser from the Chinese company Xiaomi clearly shows that the flagship device that will launch on the 15th of January 2015 is in fact the Redmi Note 2 and not the Mi5 like everyone expects. A website also revealed its specs. Check them out after the jump.

According to the source, Xiaomi’s teaser states that,”our new flagship is the redmi note, thinner, larger, lighter, faster, hifi-sound, and all glass laminate”. There’s also a possibility of the company announcing two models since their other teaser shows two hands holding an imaginary device.

Oppomart, a known e-commerce website selling Chinese smartphones, revealed the details above with an accompanied price of $249PHP 14,613INR 21,103EUR 237CNY 1,812 or approximately Php11,200USD 191INR 16,180EUR 182CNY 1,390.

The official announcement will be made in two days’ time so just sit tight as we wait for it.
