Alienware has announced a major refresh of its gaming laptop lineup at CES 2026, bringing back the iconic Area-51 name. The new lineup includes the Alienware 16 Area-51, Alienware 18 Area-51, and a slimmer Alienware 16X Aurora, all powered by Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs.

Area-51 laptops prioritize gaming performance. The 16-inch model sports Alienware’s first OLED display with 240Hz, while the 18-inch version sports a 300Hz display, which is enormous for gaming. It also comes with Alienware’s Cryo-Chamber cooling system, which increases the usage of power with reduced noise. It also sports the RTX 5090 graphics card with up to 64GB RAM.
On the other hand, the Alienware 16X Aurora aims at gamers seeking power in a more portable package. The new products will be available in Q1 of 2026 in all global markets, with pricing announced at a later date.
