Amazfit Bip officially introduced, boasts 30+ day battery life

Amazfit, a part of Huami which is a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has introduced a new affordable smartwatch called Amazfit Bip that boasts 30+ day of battery life on a single charge.

The Bip sports an always-on reflective 1.28-inch color touch display and a 2.5D Corning gorilla glass generation 3 + AF coating. Since it’s a fitness smartwatch, it has optical heart rate sensor for heart rate zones, geomagnetic sensor (compass), air pressure sensor (barometer), GPS + GLONASS for route tracking, and is IP68 certified (resistant to dust, rain and splashing).

It has 190mAh Li-Polymer battery which the company claims to last up to 30 days of battery life (regular use) and up to 45 days with minimal notifications. The Bip is priced at USD99.99 (~Php5,148.59). It’s available in four colors: Onyx Black, Cinnabar Red, White Cloud, and Kokoda Green. It starts shipping in March but you can pre-order now at Amazfit’s website.
