Apple today announced their new iPhone series with the iPhone 15 getting a fresh USB Type-C charging port, following the trend of many other smartphones using this standard.
Apple has retained the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 15 with the same 6.1-inch display on the 15 and 6.7 inches on the 15 Plus. The Super Retina XDR Display uses OLED technology with peak HDR at 1600 nits and 2000 nits under direct sunlight.
Powered by A16 Bionic (6-core CPU, 5-Core GPU), earlier used in the iPhone 14 Pro. The new iPhone 15 also inherits the old camera sensor oft he 14 Pro which is a 48MP main camera f/1.6 with OIS.
Pricing for the iPhone 15 starts at $799 and $899 for the iPhone 15 Plus. Pre-order starts this September 15 with release on September 22.
