Apple Sports has just launched, much to the enjoyment of sports fans residing in the US, UK, and Canada.
The app is free, and lets users check upcoming games, play-by-plays, team stats, lineup details, and even live betting odds on Apple’s website. Users may even customize their UI according to the scoreboards of their favored teams, tournaments, and leagues.
Supported languages are in English, French, and Spanish. Apple Sports users may even use the Apple TV app to watch live games from Apple and connected streaming apps.
Apple Sports supports updates on the following leagues:
Major League Soccer (MLS)
National Basketball Association (NBA)
National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) basketball
National Hockey League (NHL)
Bundesliga
LaLiga
Liga MX
Ligue 1
Premier League
Serie A
Apple mentioned that more leagues would be available for their upcoming seasons. These are inclusive of Major League Baseball (MLB), National Football League (NFL), National Collegiate Athletic Association Football (NCAAF), National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), and the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
Apple devices running iOS 17.2 or higher may run Apple Sports. However, there have been no updates yet on when it will become available in the Philippines.
