Apple updates MacBook Pro with 8th-gen Intel CPUs

Apple has updated their MacBook Pro laptops with 8th-generation Intel Core processors, with 6-core on the 15-inch model for up to 70% faster performance and quad-core on the 13-inch model for up to 2x faster performance.

In addition to the new chipset, the new MacBook Pro has an option for up to 32GB RAM and up to 4TB SSD on the 15-inch model, and with up to a 2TB SSD on the 13-inch model. Also new to the laptops is the Apple T2 chip, which was first introduced in iMac Pro, to deliver enhanced system security with support for secure boot and encrypted storage, and also brings “Hey Siri” to the Mac for the first time. All laptops can be updated with macOS Mojave.
