Days after Asus teased its upcoming ROG Phone 8 Series, the brand today has announced the launch date for its next gaming flagship lineup.

The unveiling is set early next year on January 16 and will likely be a China release.
As seen from the official poster, the ROG Phone 8 comes in a seemingly more minimalist design. It still bears the two-tone finish, but now with a simpler aesthetic.
It also protrudes a revamped camera module. Unlike the horizontally aligned lenses of its predecessor, the ROG Phone 8 boasts a sleek vertical arrangement for a more compact trim.
To power this upcoming lineup is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen3—configured with up to 24GB onboard LPDDR5x RAM.
Other expected specs are 6000mAh battery paired with 65W charging, and a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate.
To reiterate, the launch event is scheduled on January 16, 2024 at 7:30pm local time. Global release should come later, and we’ll surely keep you posted.
