The AYANEO Pocket AIR Mini 13 retro gaming handheld has been officially launched. This offering is their first to sport a display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, evident in more classic titles.

Other display specs include a 4.2-inch screen, 1280 x 960 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits. It also provides 123% sRGB coverage with factory calibration ensuring older games can run full screen without black bars.

Powering this is a dated Helio G90T with active cooling. It comes with up to 3GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage, and supports microSD cards.
The handheld also has RGB hall effect joysticks, hall triggers, ABXY buttons, and a traditional D-pad. It also packs a 4,500mAh battery with I/O options including USB Type-C and a 3.5mm jack.
It will run on Android 11 with AYANEO’s custom software skin. Out of the box, the handheld will also provide quick access to emulators and a retro game library.
The AYANEO Pocket AIR Mini will go on sale this October with an introductory price of USD 70 (~PHP 4K). This model has a storage configuration with 2GB/32GB.

Meanwhile, the 3GB/64GB model will be priced at USD 80 (~PHP 4.6K). The handheld will come in Aurora Black, Retro Power, and Retro White color options. For more information about the AYANEO Pocket AIR Mini, click here 66.
