SpeedFan is a program that monitors voltages, fan speeds and cpu temperatures in computers with hardware monitor chips. SpeedFan can even access S.M.A.R.T. info for those hard disks that support this feature and show hard disk temperatures too, if supported. SpeedFan supports SCSI disks too. SpeedFan can even change the FSB on some hardware. At the lowest level, SpeedFan is a hardware monitor software that can access digital temperature sensors, but its main feature is that it can change fan speeds according to the temperatures inside your pc, thus reducing noise.

I am not much of a online reader to be honest however your sites really nice, continue the good work! I’ll go on and bookmark your website to return later on. All the best
I got this because I need something to make my fan run faster, not slower. Dell supposedly has sensors that make the fan run at higher speeds when the cpu temperature is high, but I’ve discovered it doesn’t work too well. With cpu temps around 70C on a regular basis, this will be my savior. I hope :)
