DJI has just launched a compact drone called the Mavic Mini. The drone is DJI’s smallest and lightest one yet.
The Mavic Mini weighs at 249g, featuring at 12MP 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor with a 24mm f2.8 lens on a 3-axis gimbal. It can shoot up to 2720 x 1530 at 30p, or 1920 x 1080 at 60p at 40 Mbps. It has an ISO range of 100-3200 for video, along with 100-1600 or 100-3200 for photo in auto and manual, respectively. Other features include a 2400mAh, about 30 minutes of fly time, pre-programmed flight patterns, drone range of up to 4km of, GPS+GLONASS, and compatibility with Android or iOS devices via the DJI Fly app.
The DJI Mavic Mini is now available for purchase on DJI’s website. The device retails for:

- Base kit + additional batteries, spare propeller, propeller guard, charging hub, charger, carrying bag – USD 499
