The new model focuses on improved audio quality, longer battery life, and more flexible connectivity options.
The Mic Mini 2 supports omnidirectional audio recording and includes multiple voice presets such as Regular, Rich, and Bright. It also features two-level noise cancellation for indoor and outdoor use.

DJI added tools like automatic limiting, adjustable gain, and dual-track recording via the DJI Mimo app, giving creators more control over their audio.
A key feature is the OsmoAudio Direct Connection, allowing up to two transmitters to connect directly to supported DJI devices without needing a receiver.

Battery performance has also been improved, with up to 11.5 hours of use on the transmitter and up to 48 hours total when using the charging case.
