DJI just launched its newest professional camera gimbal, the DJI RS 5. The RS 5 is bringing smarter tracking and stronger motors to single-operator shoots.

The most significant addition in the package is the new RS Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module. This module magnetically connects to the camera body, featuring a live video feed from the camera displayed on the gimbal’s screen, enabling the user simply to tap on the target for it to track. The RS tracks a person, car, vehicle, or pets from a distance of up to 10 meters.

DJI also optimized motor performance with a 50% increase in “peak torque,” along with its “fifth-generation stabilization system.” Despite weighing just 1.46kg, the RS 5 supports cameras up to 3kg. Battery life reaches 14 hours, with fast charging and an optional extended battery for longer shoots.

The DJI RS 5’s pricing starts at CNY 3,099 ( PHP 26,412.50 ), but for higher-end bundle, it’s at CNY 3,899 ( PHP 33230.83 ).Pre-orders are now available in China, but for local arrival at our shores, we’ll keep you posted.
