Epson launches new Business Laser Projectors, EcoTank Series Printers, SureColor Technical Printers in the Philippines

Epson just launched a slew of different products during their “Grand Launch: Innovations that Dominate” event at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in BGC this past week. The products include a new set of Business Laser Projectors, the EcoTank L-Series, EcoTank M-Series, and SureColor T-Series printers.

First up let’s take a look at those new Business Laser Projectors. There are three joining the line of Epson’s already crowded projector line-up — the EB-L510U, EB-L610U, and EB-L610W. All three promises to deliver bright and true-to-life colors thanks to the 3LCD technology of the company. The trio also has a brightness range of 5,000 to 6,000 lumens and come with a WUXGA feature for display resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080.

They are compatible with a wide range of external devices and have support for HDMI and HDBaseT connectivity. HDBaseT basically transmits Full HD video, audio, and control at a lower energy cost using a single cat 5e/6 cable.

Next up let’s check out the entry-level EcoTank L-Series Printers. The new members include the L3110 and L3150. The pair is part of the first set of products under the recently renamed EcoTank printers. As the name suggests, these two carry an ink tank system rather than the traditional cartridge setup we have with most printers. The ink tank systems in these printers have a spill and error-free refilling process.

They’ve also undergone a different design approach and are now more compact than their predecessors while still boasting a page yield of up to 7,500 pages of color printouts and 4,500 pages of black. The two is also capable of borderless 4R photo size printing.

Moving on, we have the Mono EcoTank M-Series, which consists of the M1100, M1120, and M2140. Leading the pack is the M2140 which comes with a PrecisionCore print head allowing for print resolutions of 1200 x 2400 dpi and water-resistant printouts. As the name suggests these three are Monochrome printers with a print speed range of 15ipm and 20ipm.

The trio also features an integrated ink tank design with error-free and spill-free refilling as well as Barcode Printing. To cap it all off Epson is boasting that the Monochrome series has lower power consumption.

Lastly, let’s take a look at the SureColore T-Series technical printers. Joining the series are the SureColor T3130/T3130N 24″, T5130 36″, SureColore T3430 24″, and T5430 36″. These set of printers feature PrecisionCore Micro TFP Print and the UltraChrome XD2 technology which is a four-color all pigment ink for prints with more vibrant colors and lines.

The main feature set of these printers are their LCD Color touchscreens, versatile media handling, and anti-dust designs. All of the printers have WiFi, AirPrint, and USB direct connections.

Pricing and availability of all the products are yet to be announced.
