Fitbit has recently announced two new wearables dubbed the Versa and the Ace.
The Fitbit Versa is the company’s new smartwatch that comes with advanced health and fitness features like 24/7 heart rate tracking, onscreen workouts, and automatic sleep stages tracking. There’s also smart features like quick replies on Android, wallet-free payments on Fitbit Versa Special Edition, and on-device music. It boasts a battery life that can last for more than 4 days. Â
It is equipped with more than 15 exercise modes to track specific workouts in modes like Run, Bike, or Weights to see real-time stats on screen and get post-workout summaries. Apart from that, the company also announced a new female health tracking to help women track their menstrual cycle that can be accessible soon on the Versa, as well as the Ionic and the Fitbit app.
The Fitbit Ace, on the other hand, is the company’s first fitness band for kids. It tracks steps, active minutes, and sleep. It’s also showerproof and kids will receive celebration messages when they hit their daily goals and collect virtual badges when they reach big milestones. They will also be encourage to move more as the watch will remind them. It boasts a battery life of up to 5 days and comes with 10 fun clock faces to choose from.
Meanwhile, the Fitbit Versa will be available in the Philippines in the second quarter 2018 for Php13,890USD 237INR 20,065EUR 225CNY 1,724 in black with a black aluminum case, gray with a silver aluminum case, or peach with a rose gold aluminum case.
The Fitbit Versa Special Edition will retail for Php15,590USD 266INR 22,521EUR 253CNY 1,935; accessories ranging from Php1,899USD 32INR 2,743EUR 31CNY 236 to Php5,499USD 94INR 7,944EUR 89CNY 682. Versa will be available in across leading retail stores including Digital Walker, Globe, Liberty, Runnr and Lazada.
Local pricing and availability for the Fitbit Ace are yet to be announced.
