Freenet to cease free app, website services on August 31

Freenet has announced that it will stop providing free app and website services this month.

Freenet posted on their Facebook page that they are saying goodbye on August 31, 2019, as they will stop providing free app and website data access to its members starting September 2019.

The company did not state any particular reason why they will cease their free data services. Nevertheless, netizens express their gratefulness to the company for giving them free access to certain websites and apps.

It is not yet known whether Freenet will come back or form a new platform for people so stay tuned updates.
