Heads up Globe subscribers! The telco announced that they’ll temporarily shut down mobile services in select areas in Cebu for the Sinulog Festival.

This is in compliance with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) directive in part of the security measures adopted by the government. Mobile services like voice or calls, SMS, and mobile data connection will be temporarily unavailable during the festival proper.

If you’re in the affected areas, expect to receive an advisory from Globe regarding the planned shut down.
