Google Photos free unlimited storage to end on June 1, 2021

Google has announced that its free unlimited storage option is ending on June 1, 2021, forcing users to consume the 15GB free storage or sign up for Google One storage plans.

Starting June 1, 2021, all new photos and videos backed up in High quality will count toward the free 15GB storage that comes with your Google Account, or any additional storage you may have purchased. Note that all the photos and videos backed up in High quality before June 1, 2021, are exempted and will not count toward your Google Account storage. This includes all of your existing content uploaded in High quality.

In other words, if you want to back up all your photos and videos in High quality for free, do so before June 1, 2021.

On June 21, 2021, Google said that they will be launching a new storage management tool which will help users easily find and delete dark, blurry, and otherwise unwanted content.

• 100GB – PHP 89/mo or PHP 889/yr
