Google Pixel 5 5G, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 4a, now official
Google has recently unveiled its latest Android smartphone, the Pixel 4a. It also announced its upcoming 5G smartphones, the Pixel 5 5G and Pixel 4a 5G.
Adopting the same camera technologies from its predecessor, the Pixel 4a sports a 5.8-inch OLED display with a punch-hole design that houses its 12MP front camera. Onboard is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor mated with 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. On its rear are a 12MP camera and a fingerprint scanner. The smartphone has a 3140mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging support and comes with a battery saving feature for reducing power to the apps the users rarely use.

The smartphone is also pre-installed with Personal Safety for real-time emergency notifications and car crash detection, Titan M Security module for on-device security, Google Assistant, automatic transcription of voice records, a search feature for audio recording, filter robocalls, and software and security updates for at least 3 years. It will also have fabric cases in three colors.
Meanwhile, Google also announced the arrival of its 5G-ready devices, the Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5 5G. Google shared that the said smartphones can stream videos, download content, and play games on Stadia or other platforms faster and better. Both will be available soon in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia. Priced at USD 499, only the price for the 5G variant of the Pixel 4a was revealed.
Google is yet to share the details about the remaining smartphones in the next few months.
