Listen to article

Google could be preparing a major security upgrade for its next flagship. A new rumor suggests the upcoming Pixel 11 series, expected later this year, will introduce the Titan M3 security chip alongside the Tensor G6 SoC.

The current Titan M2, first launched with the Google Pixel 6 in 2021, remains in use through the Pixel 10 lineup. The system operates secure boot protection together with encryption key safeguards, anti-rollback defense mechanisms, and lock screen authentication systems while maintaining its security from breaches that affect both Android and its main processor.

Details about the rumored Titan M3 are still unclear, but reports claim it carries the codename “Google Epic,” hinting at a significant leap in protection. The Pixel 11 will introduce enhanced hardware security features, according to reports, which will strengthen Google’s dedication to protecting user privacy and maintaining device security for its upcoming smartphone models.
