DXOMark has released its camera review for the Google Pixel 6 Pro with an overall camera score of 135 points. The smartphone is the sixth placer in the DXOMark ranking for 2021, next to Phone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, and Huawei Mate 40 Pro.
The Google Pixel 6 Pro is the second model from the Google Pixel 6 series line-up. The main difference to the Google Pixel 6 is the smaller 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate (compared to the 6 Pro’s 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate). However, both models are powered by Google’s latest Google Tensor SoC, Titan M2 security coprocessor
Its camera is equipped with triple rear cameras consisting of 50MP (main), 48MP (telephoto), and 12MP (ultrawide) sensor. As well as a 11.1MP selfie camera.
With a Camera overall score of 135, the Google Pixel 6 Pro mingles among the very best devices in DXOMark’s camera ranking. It also replaces the Asus Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders (with 133 points). In addition, the Google Pixel 6 Pro receives 143 points for Photo, 71 points for Zoom, and 115 points for Video.
“With a DXOMARK Camera overall score of 135 the Google Pixel 6 Pro puts Google back into the group of manufacturers that is battling it out for the smartphone camera crown, making the device, at least from an imaging point of view, the best option for Android users in the US market by surpassing the competition from Samsung and Asus.”
