Among the positions are:

- Cyber Investigators
- Digital Forensics Experts
- Electronic Engineers
- Technical Planning Officers
- Technical Information Researchers
Applicants must have the following qualifications to apply:
- Civil Service Eligibility (Second level/RA 1080)
- Education relevant to the position
- Has an experience relevant to the position
- Have training/s relevant to the position
CICC is an attached agency to the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and is chaired by the DICT Secretary. It was created upon the approval of Republic Act 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
