HMD Global has employed a consultant to start and build a team for the Philippines. So far, there are about 4 people already hired for different positions to compose the local team here in the country, according to a source close to an employee of HMD PH.
HMD has also appointed a local distributor to handle the importation of Nokia smartphones, including the recently announced Nokia 6 (which has a January 19 release date scheduled).
We still don’t have any details as to when exactly will the Nokia 6 will be launched in the Philippines but a Q1 2017 release is most likely the case. We’ll share more when we get the details.
