Alongside the not-so-new HMD T21 tablet, the company also quietly unveiled the HMD XR21 rugged smartphone. This is also a rebranded device, originally launched as the Nokia XR21 last year.

It sports the same 6.49-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel, 5G-enabled Snapdragon 695 SoC, and 4,800mAh battery with 33W charging. All the durability standards are here too: MIL-STD-810H and IP69K — the highest rating for dust and water resistance.
Just like the rebranded tablet, the HMD XR21 comes with a newer OS version, Android 13 with a promise of up to two years of OS upgrades.

Price and availability
The HMD XR21 is currently launched for Europe, priced at EUR 599.99 (~Php37.4K). No word yet on a Philippine release.

The BEST phone HMD/Nokia has released to date — it’s basically the X30 and G60 but built to be as rugged as they could make it! Hopefully it’s a little less than ~P37.4k though, especially as it still only has the SD695. A price around ~P24k could make it more competitive for what it offers.
