HONOR is reportedly cooking up a ‘Magic V Flip’ that breaks boundaries (quite literally) for clamshell designs.
According to a reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming HONOR flip smartphone boasts the biggest cover display and battery ever seen in a foldable of this form factor.
The rumor aligns with previous patent leaks (see image above), which showcased a near bezel-less cover display with a surprisingly small camera island compared to competitors like the Galaxy Z Flip5.
Interestingly, the design also hints at angular corners, but it’s important to note that other leaks have suggested a more rounded look with a circular camera layout.
DCS further claims that the flip phone will carry the Magic moniker and will launch is set this June 2024. However, at the moment, HONOR remains tight-lipped about the device. We’ll have to wait and see if these rumors hold weight.
