Honor V30, V30 Pro now official

Honor has launched its first 5G smartphone series, the Honor V30. The lineup consists of the standard V30 and the V30 Pro.

The Honor V30 and V30 Pro both come with a 6.57-inch display with an FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a 91.46% screen-to-body ratio. Both have a 32MP + 8MP dual front camera setup, situated inside an oval-shaped hole at the upper left corner.

The Honor V30 sports a Kirin 990 chipset with a Balong 5000 5G modem, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB storage, customized Sony IMX600 RYYB 40MP + 8MP telephoto + 8MP ultra-wide triple-rear camera setup, and a 4,200mAh battery with 40W rapid charging.

On the other hand, the V30 Pro has a 7nm Kirin 990 chipset integrated with a  5G modem, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, customized Sony IMX600 RYYB 40MP f/1.8 + 8MP telephoto + 12MP f/2.2 109-degree triple-rear cameras, and a 4,100mAh battery with 40W fast charging, 27W superfast wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.

The V30 and V30 Pro also have a USB-C port, NFC support, and run on Magic UI 3.0.1 based on Android 10.

The Honor V30 will be available for purchase beginning December 5, while the V30 Pro will be available by December 12, in China.

    Still no Amoled. Vivo Oppo and Xiaomi will eventually take Huawei’s spot.
