HTC launches Vive Pro Eye VR headset
HTC has just launched its first eye-tracking headset called the Vive Pro Eye VR.
The device was first showcased by HTC at CES that happened earlier this year. The Vive Pro Eye VR uses Tobii technology and has a couple of eye-tracking functionalities that include precision eye tracking where users can create avatars for virtual interactions, simulate scenarios, capture feedback in real-time through heatmapping and gaze tracking, and also enable a gaze-oriented menu.
First launched in China and Europe, the HTC Vive Pro Eye VR can now be purchased in the US and Canada with a price tag of USD 1,599 (~PHP 83,176).
